Wow, people can justify anything. Pravagans justification is unacceptable. Even till the point you uncovered the real reason I thought there may be a reason behind his sudden marriage interest in malar but additionally there would have been an attraction towards her. Else he could have gotten the land with his usual threatening style why the marriage proposal. So its still a little okay. But by his own admission he has done it only as a business transaction. I let it be because he can't be blamed for my overthinking. But the missing remorse is what is very hard to digest. He can never compare what malar did with this. She had no option except to marry him yet she saw a chance for the well being of the poor people. But pravagan had other options to get the land. Yet he did this and that too only for selfish purpose. This whole episode was really sad. Vimalas outburst and malars tears made me really emotional. All these selfish men who do not have a smidgen of regret or remorse can go to hell with their own stupid justifications.
Pravagan always claims he loves malar in his own way. But to get her biggest wish satisfied she had to go through so much. So everytime to make her side understand malar has to go to extremes and then he will say she emotionally blackmailed him. Nonsense is what it is. I thought he changed at least a bit. But no. I should blame myself for thinking so.
The biggest sad thing is malar couldn't do anything in her own land. The money he now gives for the trust too can be only taken as what is rightfully due for malar. There is nothing for prava to be proud about it.
As for miru and vishnus convo I don't know why vishnu should get so angry? the onus will be on miru if a child comes even if he says otherwise now. All the people around will complain and make it a big issue if she leaves such a small child and go for work. How will vishnu handle both work and baby? Will he take a backseat from work? All this "I will take care will only work in words". Everyone will paint miru as a villain if she chooses work over child based on her husbands words. I may be wrong and come across rude, but only if we are sure to take care of a baby should we bring them to this world. Miru is right in thinking that way. Why is motherhood so glorified to the point of guilt tripping women?

மலர் மாதிரியே நானும் ஓய்ந்து போய்ட்டேன். அது தான் கதைக்குள்ள போகாமல் author எழுத்தை ரசிக்கும் பக்குவ நிலைக்கு வர முயற்சி செஞ்சேன். ஆனாலும் மனசு கேட்காமல் Disclaimer போட்டுருந்தேனே பார்த்தீங்களா?

நானு 80's,90's பிறகு வரும் படங்களை பார்க்க பிடிக்காது. 80's இல் பிரசாந்தோட ரசிகை நானு. அது ஒரு வசந்த காலம்.
