Indifference kills everything good and positive in a relationship. Ego just ruins it uproot.

Jayanthi not coming to meet him here or not inviting him there hurt his ego. He gave her back with his indifference.

Indifference is the worst way of punishing, hurting, offending anyone you know and it makes it all dirtier between two people who love and care.

Maruthu always has rode on a high horse, even when he had to starve. Despite the wisdom despite the understanding, despite the experiences, his self-respect cut through by ego makes him stiff as a rock.

Is Jayanthi any less? Maruthu’s love, care and cuddle had mellowed her down. She is basically not the one who bows down, her innate character is to revolt against anything that she feels is wrong.
