Both, Maruthu and Jayanthi, went silent mode, hiding the happened from the world, continuing to make the people that nothing affected them, and refraining from meeting each other even by chance.
But in the corner of their hearts, memories poked, the mutual indifference was felt by one another.
The thoughts continued to prick. His self–respect took a beating because of her gratitude and she had no other reason than gratitude to accept him.
Will those thoughts continue to prick? Or Will the time heal the scratch in the heart? OR Even they are healed, will the scars remain? Or Will there be a twist that can bring smiles on their face?
