“Marriage is not a noun; it’s a verb!”
As much as Maruthu’s proposal was unplanned, anything in the line of marriage was completely unexpected for her.
That too from a person, whom she could never imagine, whom she wouldn’t find worthy or deserving.
She saying a ‘No’ is going to be extremely difficult, given what all he has done for her family for the sake of her.
She saying a ‘Yes’ will be too mechanical because of no feelings and obliging because of gratitude.
Neither of the reply going to do much good and surely is going to leave a bitter taste in both of them. None of them at fault too!!
Will anything between them turn out to be a mere mentioned noun or a happening verb?
Time will tell…!!
