A very yummy sweet dish, a traditional one in the southern TamilNadu region. It’s healthy too.
Ingredients
Egg – 6
Coconut – 1 big
Sugar – 3 cups
Salt – a pinch
Cashew – a few numbers
Method:
- Extract coconut milk. It should be thick. May be first and sort of second thick milk will do.
- Beat the egg lightly, just a twist in the wifer more than enough.
- Mix the milk and beaten egg and add sugar. More sugar is needed as egg while being cooked might take away the sweetness, so a little extra should equal that.
- Add cashews. Keep the bowl in the pressure cooker.
- After the first whistle, lower the flame and cook for well 20-25 minutes.
- The dish is ready. Consume after it cools down, tastes better.
