Pottukadalai Laadu
This is a quick fix recipe, you have guests all of a sudden and need to prepare something in less than 10 minutes. One side you can roll these easy to make laddoos and on other make a few pakods/bajjis to serve them. I bet, they are going to like both. π
Ingredients
Roasted Dal/Pottu kadalai β 1 cup
Sugar β 1 cup
Salt β a small pinch
Ghee β as needed
Broken cashew (optional) β 7-8
Method
- Powder roasted dal and sugar using a mixer. Add a small pinch of salt.
- Add broken cashews to the ground powder. Mix them all well.
- Melt ghee to a clear liquid form. In the hotness you can withstand, pour the ghee little by little into the powdered dal and sugar.
- Roll them into balls.
Yummy, healthy laddoos ready. Itβs a sure shot with kids and quite healthy too.
Note:Β Donβt pour all the ghee into all of the dal powder. Pour little, make a few balls, then again a little more and goes on.
