Why should we drink plenty of water?

   Water is the healthiest choice for quenching your thirst at any time. Water is very essential for human living because almost every cell in the body needs water to function properly. Drinking plenty of water is essential for effective functioning of our body part. Drinking plenty of water helps to control calories, helps from skin dryness, proper functioning of urinary glands, energies muscles, helps the skin looking good, regulate body temperature, helps in food digestion and prevents constipation, helps flush out toxins from our body and more.

                Approximately 70% our body mass is made up of water. The amount of water you consume everyday plays an important role in maintaining a healthy body. Studies suggest that our body needs two to three liters of water every day. However, the amount a person needs to drink to avoid getting dehydrated will vary depending on many things, including body size,  temperature and the physical activity in their daily routine . For example,  for your workouts in the summer, you will need to drink more water.

Simple and easy Tips To Make Drinking More Water a Regular Habit:

  •                 Always carry a water bottle with you
  •                 Consume water after every snack and meal
  •                 Consume more fruits and vegetables as they have high water content
  •                 Jazz up the water by squeezing lemon or adding cucumber, mint etc.
  •                 Switch things up with other  water based beverages like juices.
