A very yummy sweet dish, a traditional one in the southern TamilNadu region. It’s healthy too.

Ingredients

Egg – 6

Coconut – 1 big

Sugar – 3 cups

Salt – a pinch

Cashew – a few numbers

Method:

  1. Extract coconut milk. It should be thick. May be first and sort of second thick milk will do.
  2. Beat the egg lightly, just a twist in the wifer more than enough.
  3. Mix the milk and beaten egg and add sugar. More sugar is needed as egg while being cooked might take away the sweetness, so a little extra should equal that.
  4. Add cashews. Keep the bowl in the pressure cooker.
  5. After the first whistle, lower the flame and cook for well 20-25 minutes.
  6. The dish is ready. Consume after it cools down, tastes better.
